Movie-- Phas Gaya Re Obama (Hindi)

Starring-- Rajat Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Manu Rishi, Sanjai Mishra, Amol Gupte

Director-- Subash Kapoor

Year 2010 saw a spate of small budget movies making it big: Peepli Live, Udaan, Love,Sex aur Dokha, Tere Bin Laden etc. Here's another movie that joins the bandwagon.

Phas Gaya Re Obama is a satirical take on the Recession and its bitter aftermath in the lives of well-settled NRIs. Rajat Kapoor plays a NRI who lost his job, bank balance, car due to recession, has to repay a loan and now has his house at stake. To save his house and family Rajat flies down to India to sell his mansion. A local don (Sanjay Mishra), his kidnapping business (also hit by recession..!!) decides to kidnap Rajat. Watch the movie unravel into funny situations Rajat lands himself trying to escape.

Director Subash Kapoor dishes out a rib-tickling situational comedy with a tight screenplay. Full marks to Subash for coming up with an intelligent script. The scenes involving Munni's lady gang having a funtime with Manu Rishi are hilarious and naming Munni's followers as Kareena,Preety,Katrina,Rani tickles your funny bone. Editing is crisp and the witty dialgoue adds spice to the well-cooked recipe.

Rajat Kapoor delivers what is expected of him. Sanjai Mishra as local don and Amol Gupte as Health Minister are very apt. Neha Dhupia is OK. But its Manu Rishi as the Rajat's follower who steals the show with his excellent comic timing.

Overall, its one of the best comedies of 2010 and caters for multiplexes. Go for it guys and you wont be disappointed.
Movie-- Nene Ambani
Starring-- Aarya, Nayanathara,Santhanam
Nene Ambani is the dubbed version of Tamil hit 'Boss Engira Baskaran'. Its a light-hearted clean comedy, in which Arya plays a happy-go-lucky student struggling to clear his Degree arrears. Arya falls for Nayan, proposes to marry her. Nayan's sister married to Arya's brother questions his worth for marrying Nayan, what Arya does and how he earns money and respect forms the rest of the story.
Nice punch dialogue is the USP of the movie. Music could have been better. Director handles the subject with fine comic touch, especially the background songs played(when Arya leaves the house and when Arya's friend Santhanam helps him) for parodic comedy look apt and rib-tickling.
Arya did a good job, looks handsome with Aviator glasses. He shares an excellent rapport with his co-star Santhanam. Santhanam fits the bill perfectly and they both carry the movie on their shoulders entirely. Nayan has nothing much to do in the movie and is good enough to add the glam quotient to this entertaining movie.
Go for it guys, you wont regret it. It will score low on nativity(may be the unchanged Tamil boards, bad lip-sync wont appeal to Telugu audience), but its definitely worth 50 bucks and it surely does spreads some laughs.
